The light novel series known as “Magical Warfare” aka “Mahou Sensou” is getting a Japanese anime adaptation. A short trailer has been made available for viewing. News of the light novel getting adapted was made earlier back in the end of July. Magical Warfare is one of five light novel series from MG Bunko J that's getting adapted into an anime series. Magical Warfare is due to air in Japan sometime in January 2014. It's unknown if this will be streamed online to other countries. This story takes place in the modern world where magic exists; but, it's hidden to the outside world. High school student Takeshi Nanase, a seemingly normal high school student with a checkered past, is brought into the world of magic when encountering the mysterious Mui Aiba.
