Chicago - The last time Chicago and Green Bay played in week nine, the Bears defense knocked Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers from the game early in the first quarter with a broken collarbone, but Rodgers got his revenge on Sunday.
Rodgers was playing his first game since the injury and after a slow start, finished strong, completing 25 of 39 throws for 318 yards and two touchdowns, including the game winning 48 yard strike to Randall Cobb with just :38 left in the game to give Green Bay a thrilling 33-28 victory and the NFC North title. The Packers moved the ball all afternoon, totaling 473 yards and over 35:00 of possession time, but it took a fourth quarter rally to pickup the win and send the team into the NFL Playoffs. Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was effective, completing 15 of 24 passes for 226 yards and two scores. Matt Forte finished with 110 yards on the ground and two touchdowns, but the Bears defense couldn't control the Packers offense, leading to the loss and a chance of playing for a Super Bowl title this season. Both teams had plenty of chances during the year to win the division earlier, but injuries to both starting quarterbacks during the year made it difficult, but the return of Rodgers was huge for the Packers and the road win finished off an 8-7-1 year for Green Bay.
