The newest trailer has been released for the upcoming January 2014 science-fiction anime series called "Space Dandy" which is from the creator of "Cowboy Bebop."
A new Japanese language trailer has been made available for the upcoming new Japanese anime series called “Space Dandy.” This is the newest anime series coming from Shinichiro Watanabe who is mostly known as the creator and director of the popular gritty science-fiction noir series called “Cowboy Bebop.” Like Cowboy Bebop, Space Dandy takes place in outer space in the future. However, this series is more of an action & comedy science-fiction series rather than something somewhat gritty. Space Dandy will air simultaneously in Japan and the United States very early January 2014. However, the US viewing will be dubbed right off the bat. This is a different approach in which anime series are usually broadcast in the Japanese language before it even gets a foreign language let alone English language dub. The series follows Dandy who is an alien hunter; but, he doesn't kill the aliens. Instead, he is one of the many that goes out to discover new alien species. Then, he captures them and brings them in for a paycheck. He is accompanied by his companions QT and Meow with the former being a robot and the latter being an anthropormphic alien cat. In the US, the series will be aired Cartoon Network's "Toonami" block. There's also a 10-minute preview clip that can be viewed as well.
