Alex Trebek let out his inner rapper on Jeopardy Monday night. The 73-year-old rapped the clues for the "It's a Rap" category.
"In Nuthin But A G Thang "This Doctor rapped "Never Let Me Slip Cause If I slip then I'm slippin," Trebek rapped. The answer? Who is Dr. Dre? He also busted out the lyrics "Another train another plane another bottle in the brain" by the Beastie Boys, and "Don't push me, 'cause I'm close to the edge. I'm trying not to lose my head" by Grandmaster Flash. Contestants were also asked to fill in the blank to this lyric from a Public Enemy song: "You go ooh and ahh when I jump in my car. People treat me like this Hall of Fame Lakers center. Who is Kareem Abdul Jabbar? Deadspin posted a "supercut" of some of Trebek's best rapping moments. Trebek was actually trending on Twitter Monday night at one point prompting people to think that he had died, USA Today reports.
