Buffalo - The 2013 NFL season was hard on the Buffalo Bills as they used four different quarterbacks and never really found any consistency on the offensive side of the ball, but rookie quarterback E.J. Manuel played well when healthy.
Buffalo has several different needs and the front office could go in several different directions with their first round selection. Finding another weapon for Manuel at wide receiver is a good start, but adding some younger talent to the defensive line is also a priority. Walterfootball suggests wide receiver Mike Evans from Texas A&M is a logical choice. With good size, terrific speed, and the ability to make things happen anywhere on the field, adding a player like Evans would only help an offense that struggled this past season and could give Stevie Johnson more single coverage, opening up the entire offense and making Buffalo a team to watch in the AFC East in 2014. One problem the signal callers for the team faced was constant pressure and an upgrade on the interior of the offensive line couldn't hurt. Cyril Richardson of Baylor is one of the top prospects at guard and a good choice in round two. Richardson played in a spread offense with the Bears and has the size, strength, and speed to become an asset. Round three is interesting and the likely place where they add another defensive lineman. Oregon Ducks Taylor Hart is a beast with his speed and a player that could play outside linebacker if needed. These three players are the type of young men this team needs to compete with New England and with some luck and a healthy quarterback, 2014 could be a good yea for the team and its fans.
