Boulder - The Oregon Ducks entered Sundays PAC 12 college basketball contest against Colorado without a loss, but the Ducks played their first ranked team of the year and suffered their first loss, 100-91 on the road, ending a 13 game winning streak.
The Buffaloes back court of Askia Booker and Spencer Dinwiddle were the difference as the two young guards scored 50 points between them. The two also combined for eleven rebounds and eleven assists and helped Colorado improve to 13-2 for the 2013-14 NCAA college basketball season. Josh Scott also had a big game, scoring 15 points and grabbing a game high 12 rebounds. The Buffaloes were effective all afternoon from the floor, hitting 31-55 shots from the field and 33-39 free throw attempts. Oregon was led by forward Mike Moser with 24 points and their back court combo of Joesph Young and Damyean Dotson added 16 points a piece, but the Ducks defense couldn't make any big stops in the second half and dropped to 13-1 and 1-1 in the PAC 12. Colorado entered the week ranked number twenty in the nation, but their win and a couple big upsets this past week could have the Buffaloes inside the top-15 when the new AP Top 25 rankings hit the news wire on Monday.
