New York - The late Academy Award winner Philip Seymour Hoffman was mourned by his fellow actors at a private funeral mass that was held on February 7, 2014 at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish on 980 Park Avenue in New York City.

According to the Los Angeles Times, these co-stars included Oscar winners Meryl Streep (Doubt), as well as Cate Blachett, who played with him in The Talented Mr. Ripley. Hoffman was also present at Blanchett's Blue Jasmine film luncheon in October. Other stars included such Oscar-nominated actors as Catherine Keener, who played with him in Capote and Synechdoche, New York, as well as Joaquin Phoenix, who starred with him in The Master. Ironically enough, Phoenix was nominated for an Academy Award for playing Johnny Cash in the same year (2006) that Hoffman won the Oscar for his stellar portrayal of Truman Capote. In addition, ET Online's official website revealed that Amy Adams, Marisa Tomei, Ellen Burstyn, Chris Rock, Vanessa Redgrave, Laura Linney and Diane Sawyer were also present at the funeral. His longtime partner, Mimi O'Donnell, who is also a costume designer, was present at the funeral, along with their three children. The ever-talented Hoffman died at the age of 46 from a suspected drug overdose. In addition to winning a "Best Actor" Oscar, Hoffman was also nominated three times in the "Best Supporting Actor" categories for his roles in such films as Charlie Wilson's War, Doubt and The Master.
